SPECIALTY COURSES

Let the real fun begin!!!

Yes, learning how to dive is fun and exciting, but when you have learned how to dive what comes next?

Its not so much what to do, but rather where to begin!  One choice is to begin taking courses that expand and enhance those experiences you had in the Advanced Course.

All of the specialties listed here include review sessions which will prepare you for the activity, pool sessions when it is appropriate (example Drysuit) and two to four open-water dives.

As a rescue diver, obtaining certification in five  specialties qualifies you for the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.  The highest non-instructional rating in the diving industry.  To enroll in your next specialty course, check our calendar for dates, stop by or give us a call.

ALTITUDE
DIVER

Learn how to safely dive in the high altitude environments.

Have you ever realized that the pressure reduction experienced when surfacing from a 10 dive is the same as when you drive from sea level to a dive site at 10,000 altitude?  Or how about the fact that your depth gauges read differently at higher altitudes and in fresh water?  Both of these facts create a need for special techniques and dive planning while diving at high altitudes.  Our Altitude Specialty Diver Course will train you in these special techniques and planning considerations.  This will allow you to dive more safely and enjoy some of the inland bodies of water that lie just short distance away in the Sierras.
